On the edge of the misterious Kočevski rog forests listen to the rustling of the vines, make a secret wish at the bell tower of the century-old church and surrender to peace and quiet. The comfortable Vidrih Vineyard Cottage (Zidanica Vidrih) offers an unforgettable retreat for two, wonderful views and a welcome of homemade delicacies. The cozy and comfortable accommodation offers private free parking, a modern and well-equipped kitchen (gas cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, ...), a dining room and a living room with a sofa bed and a bathroom. A barbecue is also available. On colder days, you can heat your holiday home with a wood-burning fireplace. They also offer a cot and high chair, free Wi-Fi, use of towels, shampoo, hair dryer, bed linen, ... Pets are allowed free of charge, smoking is only allowed outside. Upon agreement, they can prepare a homemade breakfast for you.
The location is an excellent starting point for hiking, cycling, skiing. If you wish, you can rent electric bicycles. There is also a new well-maintained and marked loop trail through the Veliki Rigelj wine-growing hill nearby, where you can enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding area. The starting point of the recently marked circular route is the small chapel on Veliki Rigelj. It leads past three historic churches and numerous vineyard cottages that are scattered throughout it. Along the approximately 5 km long path, which already attracts many visitors, there are also information boards, signposts and two wooden swings. The vineyard cottages are equipped with informative wooden boards with various symbols that indicate what the traveler can get in them. The route is managed by the Dolenjske Toplice Winegrowers Association.
