Retreat: a modern country home
House in the countryside, located only 5 minutes from Dolenjske Toplice, is a beautifully built farm on top of a hill with an exceptional view. It has luxurious sleeping and living areas and is located near a 100-year-old orchard. The country home is a wonderful family retreat offering endless fields and woods for hiking, surrounded by farm animals and wildlife sightings. They have hosted dozens of family and friend gatherings and picnics and have consistently received wonderful feedback about the quality of the renovated house. They also renovated a 200-year-old wine cellar. The property is truly amazing for all seasons, including beautiful summer days in the orchard, barbecuing, playing volleyball or soccer on the lawn, amazing fall colors during the leaf-changing season and hiking in the surrounding forest, a winter wonderland with sledding down the hill. Guests have access to the entire house.
The holiday house is located near the spa resort in Dolenjske Toplice and the nearby ski slopes, which are only 10 minutes away. Guests can also go on the nearby circular wine route on Veliki Rigelj wine-growing hill, where you can enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding area. The starting point of the recently marked circular route is the small chapel on Veliki Rigelj. It leads past three historic churches and numerous vineyard cottages that are scattered throughout it. Along the approximately 5 km long path, which already attracts many visitors, there are also information boards, signposts and two wooden swings. The vineyard cottages are equipped with informative wooden boards with various symbols that indicate what the traveler can get in them. The route is managed by the Dolenjske Toplice Winegrowers Association.
