Rožek Castle (Roseckh) was built at the beginning of the 13th century by the Knights of Rožek. It is first mentioned in writing in 1249, as Reizekke. The well-fortified castle, situated on the edge of a deep ravine, changed several owners and eventually passed into the possession of the Auersperg princes. It was abandoned in the 19th century.
Today, the castle is one of the outposts on the Rožek Nature Forest Learning Trail. The route is especially suitable for elementary school children, but it will also be interesting for adults.
