Divji potok, 8333 Semič
Divji potok (literally meaning "wild creek") is a torrential stream that springs from the ground above Srednja vasja near Črmošnjice. Due to its geographical location and dolomite rocks, its flow has created a very varied and picturesque creekbed, full of small waterfalls, pools and rapids. The stream mostly flows through the forest. After about 3.5 km, the stream flows into Črmošnjičica, which flows towards Dolenjske Toplice. Here are also the remains of former Gottschee settlements (Novi and Stari Tabor, Nova Gora, Stare Žage, ...).
Here runs a 3 km long loop learning trail, intended for children aged 3 to 6, as well as older children and adults. The Divji Potok Learning Trail starts in the village of Črmošnjice, at the parking lot at the CŠOD Lipa, at 410 m above sea level.
